Mojave Incident: This is our desert song, but not your normal spooky desert song. This one is a thumping, shifting sonic sound track for what is either a terrifying tale of an alien encounter (!), or one of the best pieces of sci-fi horror ever concocted by an ordinary couple who chose one of the most mysterious and spooky parts of the Mojave Desert to get away for a weekend hunting trip on October 21, 1989. Given the story, Unit F takes the story and shifts it into a sonic dynamic space with a driving bass, churning guitars and pounding drums which change on a dime, only to dip, dive, and explode, but only after asking the question….what if?

Out in the desert down Mojave way/things get weird in a terrifying way
The spiders are large and the scorpions fly/The spirits of the land open it up at night


These are the things you’d never wanna believe~
These are things you’ve never wanna see~


The lights~ She cried / Right before My eyes!!
These were ships filling up the sky from another plane-
They’re here! She Cried! These Lights terrify …..

There they were in disbelief-A state of shock as they tried to retreat
The elders said don’t ya go out there-you only have guns, these beings don’t care

These are the things you’d never wanna believe~
These are things you’ve never wanna see~


The Lights moving through that night…coming from/ the sky
All come together in terrifying sight/What the hell was happening to their minds?
No words for the things they couldn’t understand-the long held mysteries of this land?

In the desert night the terrifying lights what were these Beings just taking their minds?
Things that they’ll never comprehend/To say the least, it was out of hand
You never know when things will change/the hunter gets hunted, its unexplained
